Ambient Lighting Powder
Absolutely worth every penny!
I was a bit skeptical because this product has been so hyped and raved about in the beauty blogging community. However, believe the hype! This is absolutely worth it. I am in my late 40's, have normal/combination skin with some tendency for redness on the cheeks, fair to light skin tone with cool undertones, and I got Diffused Light, as I thought this would be the most suitable. I was looking for a finishing powder, as most of the other ones I have tried make my skin too dull or matte. Whilst I don't want to be shiny, I don't want to be totally matte, either. This powder is fantastic, it manages to set my foundation and give me a glow at the same time. And the glow is not too shiny! I don't know how they do it, it's just the perfect balance. All the redness just disappears and it really does look as though I am surrounded by the most flattering candlelight all day. This is just such a brilliant product, I can't say enough good things about it. I applied the powder with a duo fibre brush, just in the places where I felt I needed it, lightly dusting cheeks, chin, nose. A little goes a long way, and yes it is very finely milled powder, so kicks up a lot of 'dust,' but you don't need too much, trust me. Now that I have a bit of a tan, I may go for Dim Light or Luminous Light, but Diffused Light is just the perfect setting powder for my skin tone.

Magic in a container!
I can't stress enough how amazing this powder is. I've got one in dim light it's absolutely gorgeous. Everyone has been complementing on my skin since I've been using it, you can't point out what it is but it makes your skin look so much better!

When I first tried this powder, I used too much and I looked rather ghostly. What I learnt was less is definitely more, and a subtle brush over does make my imperfections, broken capillaries seem less noticeable without piling on the make up. At first I thought I may have wasted my money, or chosen the wrong colour, but so happy now. I love it!
