Future Skin Foundation
Best for dry and sensitive skin
I have spent most of my adult life looking for a foundation that suits my skin and finally this is it. Having dry, sensitive skin I hate products that look chalky and matte on my skin. This is natural, dewy and feels so nourishing. It looks natural but can build coverage easily to cover blemishes / redness. It's the only foundation I have ever bought more than once. It's pricey but worth it and a pot lasts me 9 months.

This foundation really does give a flawless, natural finish with a medium coverage and it doesn't feel as though you even have foundation on. It sits beautifully on the skin and doesn't highlight any fine lines and covers imperfections subtley. The pot lasts for ages and my skin has felt hydrated and soft whilst using it.
Unfortunately I was colour matched too dark so I would warn people to go for a lighter shade if you are in between two as it dries quite a bit darker than when you put it on 10 minutes ago.
Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the price. It's an incredible product but not quite worth its pricey tag.

There are a number of things that are great about this product, which falls perfectly in line with the Chantecaille philosophy: creating natural, flawless skin.
I'm a bit of a Chantecaille fan, using their cleanser, exfoliator, mascara, blusher and other products! If you're looking for a foundation that looks as though you're not wearing anything, but have enhanced what you've got then this is the one for you. There's no cakey-ness or flaking; it doesn't sink into your pores throughout the day; it has great lasting power (although if you work in an air-conditioned office you'll probably have to reapply if you're heading out in the evening); and it doesn't dry out your skin.
I find it works great as an everyday foundation that's light enough to look natural, but can also build up for a more dramatic night time look whilst still not looking like you're wearing foundation.
I definitely wouldn't put it in the full coverage section of the foundation market, but depending on how much you layer, you'll only need the odd dab of concealer for problem areas (such as the odd breakout/dark circles under the eyes); it does blend beautifully though so you'll not notice the two products you're using.
Yes, it's not cheap, but I'm a believer that staples like foundation are worth spending a little more on. It also lasts a really long time. I've had my current pot for over 3 months and I use it everyday, at least once.
