Advanced Timing Suggestions:

Blonde Hair Color:

For light blonde highlights, leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.

Brown Hair Color:

For red highlights on dark Brown hair: Leave Mica Shine Gel Lightener on for 5-7 minutes
For Caramel highlights on dark brown/ medium brown hair: Leave Mica Shine Gel Lightener on for 7-10 minutes.
For Light Golden Brown to Dark Golden Blonde Highlights: Leave Mica Shine Gel Lightner on for 10-12 minutes.

Red Hair Color:

For soft lighter red to soft golden highlights on medium to light red hair leave on for 7-10 minutes: Leave Mica Shine Gel Lightener on a little longer for blonde highlight results.

Sectioning– Refer to instructions inside kit, as sectioning is customized for each hair style.

Mapping out your hair– Using clips, map out where you want to highlight. This will make things much easier and faster once you start applying the mica shine gel lightener.

Technique – Apply colour gloves and either dip index finger into the Mica Shine Gel Lightener and finger paint your highlights with your thumb and index finger or use the professional highlight wand and brush each strand. *Tip – Dip highlighting wand into Mica Shine Gel Lightener and twirl to saturate brush. Tap lightly on side of bowl to remove any excess..

Timing– Leave on for 5-10 minutes for subtle results. Leave on 15-20 minutes for more noticeable results. When satisfied with the results, spray WonderLust™ Illuminating Tonic over the highlights to stop the lightener and seal the cuticle. WonderLust™ also helps to lower the pH level, detangle, thermally protect the hair and add shine and conditioner.
