Rated 3 out of 5 by busyasabee from nice feel, lovely scent I'm ambivalent about this product - the feel on the lips is good (not gritty), though it is rather harshly 'gold'. I would like it significantly more if it hadn't broken shortly after starting to use it, so I guess it's a bit 'soft' for a lipstick. However I've kept it - as a spare in the car for emergency lip treatment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by EAP from Not great for me I bought this a long time ago, tried my best to wear and like it a lot, but eventually gave up and either gave or threw it away; I can't remember which. Partly the reason was that the slightly golden, warm tones didn't work very well on me, which of course isn't the fault of the product (but rather, my fault for not picking products that suit me); but the main reason I don't rate it highly is that it simply didn't do what I expected of it. It felt nice to apply, but then it actually seemed to make my lips drier over the course of the day, rather than moisturising them. The honey scent was quite nice, however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Longtallsally from Golden lip balm A glorious pure gold shade. Moisturizing as all LQ colours, and light application gives a beautiful sheen to the lips. Deeper application gives a stronger colour but even then it remains a sheer sheen of colour. Perfect with a tan. This also works well under or over other colours

While it is really nice it is not really much better than a dab of Vaseline at £1 a pot. It is nice as a slight sheen on top of other lipsticks but at £20 it is expensive for not that great a product. Sorry Lipstick Queen this is a bit of a fail from me.
