Inside Summer Fridays Co-Founder's Beauty Routine
To call Marianna Hewitt a beauty influencer would almost be lazy. Yes, that’s where she started with a blog and a YouTube channel, and yes, she now has 1.1M Instagram followers with an aesthetically pleasing grid that we’ve come to expect from social media. But in the years that have followed, she has co-founded the bestselling skincare brand, Summer Fridays and launched a successful podcast, Life with Marianna. The scope of her influence extends much further than the norm of a beauty influencer.

Authenticity is at the heart of everything she does. Whether it’s an Instagram post about her favourite hair mask or a podcast episode with fellow skinfluencer Hyram on skincare, you get the sense that Marianna is sharing her world with you. For her part, Marianna sees this as a two-way-street: “I learn so much from fellow influencers and experts I follow online,” she tells us. “I am always discovering new brands, products or new way to use a staple I’ve loved for years, and I love to share that. Social media has opened up my shopping cart to so many new brands and products I may have never found if it wasn’t for someone raving about how incredible it was.”

With over 10 years of experience, we were intrigued about how the world of beauty influencing has impacted Marianna’s skincare routine and approach to wellbeing. Unsurprisingly, she was more than willing to open up about her daily schedule and bathroom cabinet…

Marianna Hewitt’s Daily Skincare Routine

I am a true product junkie and use so many products in my daily regimen, from skincare, hair, body, makeup and more. There’s nothing I love more than trying new launches or discovering a product that’s gone viral on TikTok and incorporating them into my beauty routine.

My skincare routine is, of course, all things Summer Fridays, including the NEW Summer Fridays Light Aura Vitamin C + Peptide Eye Cream, £40.00. In the morning I use , followed by Summer Fridays CC Me Serum, £65.00 which is an incredible antioxidant for daytime and helps with pigmentation and dark spots while also instantly giving your skin a glow. I follow up with Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream Moisturizer, £45.00, an oil-free gel cream moisturiser that is perfect to layer under SPF, which I wear every single day.

At night, I cleanse and on alternate nights I use . A chemical exfoliant is a must in my routine, then I apply a generous layer of Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, £26.00 as an overnight sleeping mask and moisturiser and a few drops of Summer Fridays Heavenly Sixteen All-In-One Face Oil, £55.00. It’s so luxe and is made of vegan and non-comedogenic oils.

Her Top Skincare Tip

I started incorporating SPF into my skincare every day almost a decade ago. I learned the importance of sunscreen as part of your overall skincare routine, especially when using ingredients like vitamin C and retinol.

Marianna’s Approach To Wellness

My morning routine is a must for me to be my most productive self. Periods of rest and recharge are how I tackle my never-ending to-do list. I’ve learned that if I am exhausted, I can’t be there for all the jobs or people who need me to be there for them. My day starts with a stretch, meditation, journalling and reading. Pilates is a go-to workout of mine as it is low impact but makes me feel my best.

In terms of social media, I have limits on my apps for how much time I spend on them a day, which is difficult because it’s also my job. But with any job, you have to take some time off work, so I try my best to take one day off a weekend without social.
