Not for sensitive skin
I am loyal DE client who had previously loved this serum but had moved to other less expensive brands recently. I received this serum as a present from my Mum and was so excited to use it again. However, I found this too harsh for my skin now. A few days after using it, my skin reacted and was dry, angry and red. It took a few days to settle and I thought I would try again but this time I broke out in spots. I've finally accepted that this serum is not right for my skin and have gone back to what I was using previously.

All a bit of a faff
I find that having to mix up a product myself is rather a faff. Opening the power, I spilled it and had to scoop it all back in. It smells meh, and other serums are out there that are lovely and don't require me to mix the product before I even start! Sorry but not for me.

Sensacion terrible
El serum da resultados en cuanto a generar mayor luminosidad en la piel y mejorar apariencia de manchas, pero es tremendamente pegajoso y realmente no se absorbe bien en la piel, si tienes piel sensible no lo recomiendo, no vale el dinero que cuesta, hay mucho mejores serums por ese precio.

Great for brightening!
I was really wanting a cheaper version of skinceuticals C serum but it's super pricey and I found this dupe. It's great and even better than expected. No scent really and leave a little bit of a tacky feel behind. But man oh man does it lighten and brighten your face I will always get this until I get rich and can buy the skinceuticals haha also love the orange bottle!

3.5/5. Works but not suitable for sensitive skin
I have the 15mL version of the C-firma serum from one of the DE sets I bought. Even though the serum feels sticky and smells like a mix of smoked bacon and burnt wood, there were visible improvements regarding skin glow and pigmentation marks, especially compared to other expensive vitamin c serums like the SR or Biossance ones which didn't work for me. So I was happy and kept using this one from DE. However, my skin has become sensitised over time and now when I apply the serum my skin feels "hot" and uncomfortable. So overall I would recommend the C-firma serum only if your skin isn't sensitive, otherwise you're just going to do more damage to your skin than good...
