Great base
I love the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser but this product takes it to a new level. Gives a great finish and literally smooths away imperfections. Biggest difference is in under eye shadow; it really does ‘blue’ as promised and makes my skin look so much better. Highly recommend. Does not feel heavy but significantly improves your base look

It’s ok
I got this in my Space NK calendar and was excited to use it as I do like Laura Mercier products. It had a very pleasant smell and seemed quite light when I squeezed it on to my palm, however when I applied it to my face, it seemed to turn quite sticky and difficult to blend in. Once I put some light tinted moisturiser on top, it felt like my face was caked in thick cream. It’s certainly not for me.

Foundation doesn't blend
I wanted to love this primer because I love other products from this brand, including their other primers. It has a mattifying texture and minimizes the look of pores. However, my foundation wouldn't blend nicely with this primer on. It may help to know that my foundation is not Laura Mercier, but it's still a good quality brand and should not be affected over a good primer.

Does not blend
Yes it does have a blurring effect but you can't put the oil free tinted moisturiser over the top as it doesn't blend. You just end up with a thick smudgy mess on your face.

One of the Best Primers
My skin is normal but I sometimes break out in oiliness which isn't great if you're wearing makeup. I like to use a mattifying base to keep my makeup looking fresh. This is great because it leaves no obvious residue, so you can use it alone or with makeup. Just make sure to rub it in properly and you're good to go.
