Not great for sensitive skin
I was advised to buy this at the Space NK in Knightsbridge, as I mentioned I was looking for a primer that would be good for sensitive and sometimes dry skin. I feel this primer is not the one for me. It picks up and shines a light on all my skin imperfections and also feels very drying. I have tried it with multiple different foundations. And also have tried wearing different moisturisers u beneath, but I don’t feel this primer is suitable for my skin.

Nice but not a repurchase
I picked this up in store from the travel size section which I find a great way to try products out. I liked applying this product and felt it benefited my skin and absorbed nicely. However, I don’t feel like it helped my make up last longer. I won’t be purchasing the full size and am looking at alternatives.

The worst primer I’ve very used
This was recommended by the sales assistant in store, she waxed lyrical about it (probably trying to move stock), anyway it’s meant to help blur or minimise pores (the main reason I bought it), it just made their appearance worse, makeup struggled to adhere in some areas with larger pores. It’s an extremely pricey primer for what it does (or in this case doesn’t do) there are far better primers out there at half the price. It was a thin consistency, but it felt like I was putting PVA glue on my face. Once dried it felt quite silky, but it did nothing, even after leaving 10 mins to dry my Channel foundation would pill or roll off if touched. Very much felt like I had just applied a layer of silicone to my skin… which I basically had. Won’t be buying again, feel like I’ve been stung. After using it I mentioned my experience to a couple of friends and both told me they had had the same experience with it, I wish I’d spoken to them sooner!

Favourite primer
I absolutely love this primer, it’s replace all others in my collection! It feels so lightweight and moisturising on the skin. Additionally I find it sits so well under makeup and lasts all day. I have quite dry skin with not much acne but I think this would still be fine for those with oily skin.

Best primer I've tried
Since I started using this I haven't looked back, and it's been years. I've tried other reputable brands and they haven't been the same for me. I love the consistency, how little you need to use and the effect on my skin - it makes makeup easier to put on, makes the makeup look better on skin and makes my skin look smoother, plus it lasts longer. Sure, it's expensive but it's definitely worth it. I buy the jumbo size because it's better value and I've read comments about not being able to get as much out of the glass bottle 30ml size. I don't use this for its SPF properties and use a separate 50 SPF. Highly recommend!
