On wet hair: To prevent breakage, section and detangle your hair using a wide-tooth comb (stay away from bristle brushes because they can disrupt your curl pattern). Start with a dime-size amount of Curl Crème and evenly distribute it with your fingers (it’s super creamy and melts into your curls like an oil). Comb through each section using your fingers to ensure Curl Crème blesses each and every curve. Let your hair dry, then say hello to your softest curls ever.
If you plan on heat styling later and want heat protection, pair Curl Crème with OUAI Leave In Conditioner, our multitasking detangler and leave-in that provides thermal heat protection and weightless hydration.
On dry hair: A little bit of Curl Crème goes a long OUAI in refreshing day-two or day-three curls. On dry hair, apply Curl Crème sparingly and directly to your curls to help define and smooth frizz and flyaways.

I expected more from this
I have used it at least 10 times by now on wet hair only and I find tricky to get the right amount. It is a thick cream and seems a little goes a long way but then it might be too less to avoid frizz at all so while it is a nice curl cream I don’t see any special advantage compared with other cheaper ones in the market.

Just ok
I had a deluxe sample of this that I used a few times. I have curly, frizzy hair. I applied this on wet hair and allowed to air dry. It does make my hair less frizzy, but not completely, so needed to use other products (this was expected). However, it also made my hair crunchy as well. When applying and using less (to avoid the crunchiness) thus just meant my hair had less hold and more frizz. When using a bit on dry hair it added a bit of texture but no hold. Lovely smell, though! But it won’t be one I’ll add into my routine.

Hair perfume and curl definer in one
I really like this curl crème, it has a lovely smell which admittedly isn’t for everyone but I personally love it and the scent lasts for a while, almost like a perfume for your hair. Works well when I leave my curls to air dry but also with a diffuser. It doesn’t go crispy like some products for curls do.

Air Dry Curl Definition
I bought this a while ago and was initially a bit disappointed as it didn't seem to do a lot - however I took it on holiday and tried it in a different way and completely changed my view. Previously I'd only used a small amount as other reviewers recommend but I need a decent dollop. After washing my hair - I apply the ouai leave in conditioner - brush through, then apply a dollop of this with my hands (I don't brush through), then let my hair dry naturally and the curls are defined rather than a frizz. It looks completely natural with no crunchiness or greasiness. Like my hair but better. It still need to do some work on getting it to hold the next day and also if I want to dry it - but definitely worth a go!

Great smelling - but be modest with the amount
A small amount of the Ouai Curl Creme goes a long way when used on damp hair! The smell is great, and I'm always left with a nice, defined curl after using this product. I would suggest being modest with the amount you use. I've only been looking after my hair properly for the last year and the Ouai product is definitely much thicker than others I've tried. I received this as a birthday gift from SpaceNK but would definitely purchase myself.
