Not for me
I used this product for 7 weeks for acne and blackheads, and it seems like this might not be for me. I didn't mind the oily texture since I have dry skin, but it only made my skin worse and new pimples appeared every day... I've now stopped using it, but I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm disappointed but I'm sure it can help someone else.

Perfect for my skin!
Like others, I bought this thinking it was the other salicylic acid product. HOWEVER it ended up being great for someone with both dry and acne prone skin. I've never used any form of face oil but I'm now converted. I use this at night after face wash, before a bit of moisturizer- nice and simple. It will leave your face slick, but that won't last long. I've always struggled with dryness, but didn't want to slather my sensitive, acne prone skin with pore clogging, thick products. This product solves that and keeps my skin care simple (one product, treating 2 things at once- acne and dryness). Love it!

Too strong for mature skin
This is VERY drying for me. When applied with moisturizer, there is just too much product on my face. My pores were minimized the next morning though. Had to buy barrier cream to treat the dryness this caused.

GETS RID OF ACNE FAST
i’ve been using this for around 2 years now off and on, be aware that you will start purging if you use this but it’s pretty worth it. it doesn’t get rid of acne completely but it gets rid of it fast, i use this every morning bc i have pretty bad skin, and when i go to wash my face at night most of the pimples will be flattened by then. it’s not drying but it is a little oily, i tried the other salysilic by the ordinary and it give me a chemical burn once so i’m sticking with this one.

bad smell
Only used it once because I cannot stand the smell. I thought it was somehow a false in that specific one and only happened to me, but I now see other reviews mentioning the same. I cannot say about the efficiency, though I am pretty satisfied with any other products that I used. Do you recommend any uses other than the face? I feel sorry to not use it again.
