Nice but not my favourite

I think I chose this as a space nk full size birthday gift (thank you space nk ndulge) and was excited to try this pricey face wash as generally wouldn’t spend £60 on a face wash myself. It is a thick cream and is nice enough to use and it certainly feels gentle and hydrating to me and I have sensitive skin. I haven’t had any side effects or dryness as another reviewer has commented. However I just don’t love it enough to buy it myself, generous though the size is and long lasting, nothing makes this a ‘love’ product for me. By contrast, I purchased the Revive sensitive eye cream which is slightly tinted and now use it instead of the YSL Touché eclat and I do rate it - lovely slim packaging and can’t fault the product. Nice texture and tone, whether it is reducing the dark circles or light reflecting I’m not sure, I hope so!

Wouldn't recommend

I've had a few samples of this in various gift with purchases and the cleanser cleans ok. However, it makes the skin near my eyes (cheekbone area) sore and it stings to apply skincare afterwards. I don't suffer from sensitive skin at all and this is the only non-medicated cleanser that has caused this problem.

Results on skin and washcloth

This is a gentle, luxurious foaming cream that gives immediate results. I can always tell how effective a cleanser is by what I see on the washcloth, and mine showed makeup that was as vivid as a color chart. After cleansing, I don’t have to rush to apply moisturizer.

Just ok

A little really goes a long way with this one. A pea sized amount is enough to create a thick foam that covers both face and neck. I've been using a 15 ml deluxe size everyday for almost three weeks and there is still product left. Now, the cleanser is just ok to me. It smells and feel like a hand soap on my face and my skin feels slightly stripped after using it. Not very hydrating as it claims to be. A bit similar to the Estee lauder Perfectly clean. I've had zero issues with irritation using this though and it certainly does it's job at cleaning my face. I will continue using the one I have but won't purchase a full size. The price is way too hefty and there are better cheaper options imo.

Not the best cleanser

This cleanser really foams and you don’t need much as a little goes a long way. But I find if it goes anywhere near my eyes it stings. I can see a lots of people like it but I don’t find it to be particularly hydrating if fact it is not something I would buy again or recommend. If anything I find it to harsh for my skin.
