Irritates skin
Both the Violet water and cleanser have been absolutely amazing and I really can’t recommend these enough if you have oily acne prone skin. As I loved these so much I bought the moisturiser too but unfortunately it irritated my skin almost immediately, giving me a stinging sensation/reaction. The texture also felt quite sticky which really wasn’t great. I’ve had an amazing experience with all the other Oskia products I have tried so I feel bad to write a poor review but I bought this in the full size and can’t help feeling it was a waste of money! If Oskia can bring out a tester sample in this it might be useful for other customers to trial before committing. I continue to use just the violet water and cleanser in my skincare routine and these two products combined are great - again I can’t recommend these enough!

Brilliant, light, great for rosacea prone skin
I have telengiastic rosacea, and was largely at a point where almost all skincare would cause horrendous flares. I live in a cold climate that too would contribute, and have bouts related to stress. I started using the water gel cream with the isotonic serum and the symptoms calm downed pretty quickly. I now use this generally with a number of oskia products, and others not produced by oskia including the ingredient “milk thistle extract”. Why this is great for rosacea prone skin is that it is lightweight, it contains an azelaic acid precursor (so really gentle) which acts as a vasoconstrictor,!there are various Gentle and encapsulated forms of vitamin C which help promote collagen and also help reinforce vascular walls, silver an anti micobial, MSM which reduces irritation and visible redness as well as a number of anti-inflammatory compounds and gentle acids. I really recommend trying it.

Irritates my skin
I love love love Oskia products and the Violet toner from this range was no exception. Renaissance range is one of my favourite range of beauty products. But this hydrogel irritated my skin the minute I applied it and I had to wash it off it was bad! I’ve read do not use if allergic to silver 🤷♀️ but I’m not aware that I am. Hate leaving negative review as I love Oskia but this just didn’t agree with me and I do not have sensitive skin

Good everyday moisturiser
This is a good everyday lightweight moisturiser. Pleasant smell and quite literally like applying water, it absorbs easily and doesn’t leave my skin shiny. It’s a very natural finish, not matte. Nice to use. I’m not sure I’ve seen significant calming or clarifying effects as claimed but it does the job and is nice to use. The size of the pot is good too, larger than the average 30ml moisturiser tubes.

Great for Oily Combi Skin
I really love this moisturiser, I love Oskia products and for Oskia I was pleasantly surprised that this was leaning towards the more affordable end. I don't use this every day though I happily could. It is very lightweight once applied and as with all of Oskia's products, a little goes a long way. The packaging is beautiful, frosted glass tub with a protective reusable seal inside, and the box it was packaged in had a fun purple print on the inside. The product itself is a purple (violet) colour, and you don't need much to apply to the entire face and neck quite honestly. I also add in some other products such as SPF which can help it go further. It's been very gentle on my skin and not caused any breakouts and it's such a joy to feel less self conscious about my skin looking shiny or greasy through no fault of my own - using this alongside other niacinamide type products and finishing with a mattifier is the holy grail for me. I will be likely to purchase this again as, though expensive, I can see this lasting me a long time and it feels like a treat in a tub. For anyone with sensitive, acne-prone oily/combi Skin, I highly recommend. This is a top range product but regardless, niacinamide in a product that does not burn or irritate the skin is what is needed to take down the oily/shine factor we so often struggle with.
