Fine
I have fine, slightly dry hair and was looking forward to trying this when I received it as a sample. It was perfectly pleasant to use, but in all honesty I didn't think it was anything special. It was a fairly regular and forgettable conditioner. There was nothing bad about it but also nothing memorable that would make me rebuy.

The most effective deep conditioner!!!
I have chemically-processed (relaxed) coarse hair, and this is the ONLY deep conditioner I use. I have tried many many brands, and none of them were able to truly nourish and hydrate my thirsty hair strands from the inside out. This rich and creamy conditioner is well worth the investment, specially if you're looking to revitalise and GET YOUR HAIR HEALTHY, with purposeful ingredients. I no longer need to flat iron my hair because this conditioner (alongside the nutriplentish leave-in conditioner and the nutriplentish oil) are capable to tame my frizz and keep my hair shiny. It has been a year now and this is the healthiest my chemically-processed hair has ever been - it has increased my hair's elasticity, is no longer brittle and my hair experiences very minimal breakage (if any). If this conditioner can hydrate my relaxed hair long term, it is highly probable that this conditioner will fix your hair hydration. I use the nutriplentish deep hydration conditioner, but Aveda also has a lighter version for people with finer hair.

Moisturises without weighing hair down
My hair has been quite dry and brittle recently but, used in conjunction with the accompanying shampoo, this conditioner has helped my hair feel and look a lot healthier. I have quite fine hair and a lot of intensely moisturising conditioners and masks can weigh my hair down and leave it feeling and looking lank and greasy but I don't find that to be the case with this conditioner. Like all Aveda hair care products, it has a fresh, botanical fragrance which makes it even more of a pleasure to use.

VERY heavy and not for fine or medium weight hair!
It's not a terrible product...it's just not for you if you have not got very thick very partched hair. This product needs to be used on thick hair which is dense. I was advised it was for those with afro hair or very thick and dense hair, and my hair is wavy and fine. I did however try the version meant for me and found my hair needed more. I don't know what it is about this range but it seems for me that none are suitable! So, if you are in the same boat I was; tried the light version and didn't feel it did enough/anything, don't go reaching for this one because it's also not for you! Try something else for hair that needs help (the Damage Remedy range is so far my top from the brand but also the Smooth Intentions if you're wanting to stick with Aveda).

Best of the bunch
Absolutely love this product. Using it since launch and my favourite of the newer ranges, possibly number 1 Aveda conditioner (but do like Sap Moss and Brilliant too). A pleasure to use, feels great on application, rinses out easily and leaves hair soft, manageable and very hydrated without reducing volume. Although I have fine hair, it's colour treated, so prefer rich version, happily it doesn't weight it down. For me also one of the more pleasantly scented of the newer ranges. Have the litre size and will repurchase again.
