A great everyday eyeshadow
Bought this eyeshadow in the shade Olive as having swatched on the back of my hand, thought it would be a good colour to enhance my blue eyes plus I wanted something quick and easy to apply in a morning. While I like the colour it didn't do what I'd wanted it to do - my fault for maybe selecting the wrong shade - but it is a good eyeshadow. I can't decide whether it's a powder or a cream so I've been using a bit more of a flat/stiff eyeshadow brush to apply. It is quick and easy and you can build up the colour. It also has staying power and dioesn't crease. Would definitely buy again - just in the right shade next time!

Olivia. What a rare luxury!
I can't wait for the coming back of this specific shade - Olivia. There's nothing olive about it - it's a color named after a beloved family member of the brand. It stands alone from other products in the line of similar shadows. It's not matte, as the brand's website says; it's satin and gives a luxurious, expensive glow that will be perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. It's a base for the mobile eyelid. The effect is very similar to my favorite Armani liquid eyeshadows, but the texture is completely different.

Gorgeous cream eye shadow
These are beautiful cream shadows that are really easy to apply. I purchased ‘Seashell’ and it goes on smoothly with a shimmer but not at all glittery. I use a primer before applying and it has great staying power lasting all day without creasing. These are expensive but a little goes a long way and it is great value per wear. Great product that I highly recommend.

Light and Bright
This is for Mermaid, a light gold shadow which is a very dense colour in the pot but lightens and lifts the eye when applied using a finger. I have yet to experiment with brushes and when it is wet but I expect to be equally pleased. Lovely shade which appears to be discontinued. However, the brand is great.

Unbelievably bad and unprofessional service
Yesterday afternoon around 4.20pm (Thursday 15th Feb 2024) I visited your Glasgow store. I was there to look at eyeshadow and moisturiser and a few other items by Chantecaille. In particular I wanted to view a particular eye shadow in person as I had been looking on line and, of course, shades can be deceiving on computer. The eye shadows in question were all mixed up and the assistant did not know the difference between the fact that some of them were High Pearl/creamy whereas 2 of them were matte, which is what I was looking at. She proceeded to contradict me and eventually she realised her mistake. I can understand that customers, when visiting, can mix up the stock in the various displays but surely the assistants should re-arrange the displays and tidy them. When I walked into the store there. was only one customer being attended to by another assistant and at least 3 assistants (including the one who was supposed to be serving me, were standing chatting when I arrived). You would expect them to know their stock and to be able to advise. There are many different brands etc but they have time on their hands to educate themselves with regard to all the various products.. This particular assistant (a women in her fifties with dark hair) has served me before and sold me the wrong shade in foundation. On that occasion when I visited I advised her that I wanted to purchase foundation so she proceeded to show me tinted moisturiser! She is incompetent and I will only ever visit again to check a shade/colour but will never purchase again. My last review that I made 6 years ago was a really good one when Jade served me was 5 star. She left to have a family and did not come back. Now there is a girl who knew her job.
