I've received a mini size of Powermatte Lip Pigment in shade "American Woman" as a member of the Nars Community. It's a chestnut rose shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. I think this shade is quite universal and will suit many women with different skin tones and hair colours. This lip product had a fluid consistency that allows the colour to glide on smoothly. The formula also takes a few seconds to dry down and set in place. One coat is enough to completely cover your lips. This product stayed put for about five hours, without flaking. The formula is non-transferrable. The biggest plus is that it did not dry out my lips. However, there is one downside and I am not sure whether it's because the product I am testing is a mini size, but the wand is not very comfortable to use and I find it easier to spread the pigment with my fingertips. The lipstick also has a subtle vanilla scent which is not a bad thing for me.

Nars Power matte lip pigment -American woman
Nars Power matte lip pigment 2ml American woman shade 112. I was sent this product to test from #Narscommunity to test. This is the most flattering shade,I think it would suit anyone. My new favourite lipstick that literally lasts all day. So quick &easy to apply and dries very quickly. A little goes a long way so this 2ml lip will last me a long time. It's smells beautiful and feels wet& soft to apply ,drying within seconds then it's not moving. This is my new favourite lip colour it's a nude rose I absolutely love this shade,adds a pop of colour without being overpowering and feels like I'm not wearing any lipstick,no stickiness or touch ups required. Gorgeous colour pigmented long lasting
The packaging is the gorgeous typical matte black nars box which if fully recylable. The lipstick itself is housed in a gorgeous sleek and unique designed lipstick container which has windows which is a true representation of the colour. I found the applicator soft and accurate so it was easy to apply the perfectly and create a defined shape. It has a matte formula which is incredibly pigmented so only one coat is needed which means it will last a long time! It is transfer proof. I love its gorgeous brown nude pink shade which looks stunning alone but paired with a brown liner looks even more incredible. If you love the colour but like gloss you can add a balm or clear gloss on the top for that effect without disrupting it. I found it to be very long lasting through out the day and despite being matte it wasn’t too drying but I’d recommend using lip balm underneath. I can highly recommend this product!

Pragmaticaly glamorous!
I'm so grateful to Nars for sending me a sample so I could try this marvel lip pigment (powermatte)! Otherwise I might have never have been inclined to buy it! Trust me, the pics and vids do not make justice to how easy it is to apply and how glamorous is its finish! And it lasts all morning!🤗 Let's face it, I do love my lunch, so I believe it's because of that I have to reapply☺️ I'm so gonna buy it! And to imagine I was reticent about the colour! I'm more of a red kind of gal ❤️ But I am definitely now a fan for this more neutral shade for my every day at the office 🥰 It's not even a basic, it's a must! Just brilliant 🙌🏼 Thanks NARS 😘

Bold pigment and transfer proof
I recieved this to try as a member of the nars community. The applicator is great and allows for quick and precise application. The pigment is very good and upon a single application there is bold colour. American women is a lovely nude/deep pink/red colour, that would suit all skin types. The initial pigment texture is moisturising, so it applies smoothly. However, did feel my lips then dried up, so I needed to add some lip balm or gloss on the top to stop it cracking. Once applied the pigment gives a matte finish. It dries really quickly, and once dried it is transfer proof. The colour stayes on with no issues, and need a good makeup remover to take it off.
