Smooth glide
Really smooth applications, very pigmented and does the job in one swipe. I did expect it not to smudge easily but unfortunately it does. However it’s great to use in the winter, I don’t think I can use it in the summer but overall a great product !!

Best eye liner for upper waterline
This is the best product ever for using when you flip the upper eyelid over slightly and run along where the water line meets the eyelash line. It glides on really easily too and have had no reaction at all to it. I don’t really like to use black on the lower water line any more, but have tried it out for review purposes and it’s great. For the lady that had difficulty sharpening the pencil, try the Laura Mercier sharpener - I did put the pencil in the fridge overnight before sharpening, but I do think that this is one of the best sharpeners for a fairly skinny pencil. I do appreciate that Chantecaille still make wooden pencil eyeliners as I don’t think that you get as good a point for precision marking with the plastic ones. This going to be a repeat buy.

Super soft on the eye line
With eyeliners, I’m always on the lookout for a trusted brand to not only give me that dramatic wide a wake look, but the pencil is super soft on application that won’t sting my eyes throughout the day. This product I cannot fault. It’s amazing soft application around the delicate eye line was easy to apply and amazing deep color. It didn’t sting my eyes throughout the day, has amazing staying power, smudgeproof and easy to remove with lotion. I Love this product, and it’s easy application means the pencil lasts longer than others.

Great
I love this product, and the design is so beautiful. It has good staying power and the colour payoff is good, as it should be. It is quite soft so it's not difficult to use. One downside I can think of is that it's difficult to sharpen since it's a weird size.
