Description

Cleanse the hair and give it extra texture with the IGK Hair 1995 2-in-1 Shampoo & Texturizer, an intense formula designed to remove impurities and deliver gritty texture. Without leaving the hair looking dull or dirty, this product contains clay for the creation of weightless, edgy texture.

Using montmorillonite (bentonite) clay because of its gentle cleansing and texturizing properties, the innovators at IGK Hair have created the ideal product for on-trend hair sophistication. In addition to this, grape seed extract is included to help prevent the degradation of hair fibres. Finally, diatomaceous earth helps to absorb excess oils and add firmness to the hair, while hydrolysed vegetable protein provides strength and hydration.

After application, the hair looks and feels more textured and robust, while remaining soft and cleansed. For best results, work into wet hair and leave for one-to-two minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

How to Apply

Place a quarter-size amount in hands and work through hair. Leave on for 1-2 minutes. Rinse. No conditioner needed. Air dry for natural waves or use with other stylers to create more texture and body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jacqui28 from Fine, thin hair?! Buy this! You won’t regret it! I have very fine, thin hair with micro extensions for volume (not length. Most of the time I opt for a lob as I like them to look more natural!) I have tried them all.. the chemist approved, scientist designed, the questionnaire & they make up the formula for you & just about every brand on here & more.. I agree with other reviews on the detangler but I loved the full yet non sticky volume this shampoo delivered in one wash.. I’ll probably mix it in with the odd colour protect but genuinely love this!

I was a bit sceptical at first but this shampoo really makes a difference on my fine, short hair. I don't use it every day as I like to use the volumising shampoo and conditioner every few days. The whole product range is very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SammieD from Amazing shampoo! As a person with incredibly fine and flyaway hair I am always keen to try products which may add volume. So many do not deliver on promises but this is fantastic. Able to use daily this one product which means no need for volumising products before drying or styling products afterwards. Even better when away from London hard water. It does require a tangle teezer as not using conditioner and once a week a proper shampoo and conditioner. Less is more to prevent build up. It has genuinely changed my life in terms of hair management and would highly recommend for anyone else with super fine hair.

I have tried lots of products from this brand and without question, this is my absolute favourite, by far. The bottle looks relatively small, but the shampoo is so surprisingly creamy that a little really does go a long way, especially if you have fine hair like myself. Also, as the bottle states, you really do not need to use conditioner with this shampoo as it manages to leave hair feeling moisturised as well as textured. This product is perfect for those of us who like a grungey bed-head sort of hairstyle. It adds volume, texture and grit and stops the dreaded frizz. I also find that my hairstyle lasts longer between washes with this shampoo and I'm all for that. I can see that this product would be just as effective on thicker hair types too, if you like the messy look. This brand does this sort of product really well and I highly recommend them.

I use a lot of products on my hair so sometimes it’s nice to sit back and use just one, to give my hair a break. This is that product. A 2 in 1 that does exactly what it says, super hydrating too.
