Not my favourite
I like smoky fragrances and I like rose fragrances so this sounded like a perfect match. However, it smells like somebody set fire to a bunch of tyres and people sent roses to the funeral. It's just not a pleasant smell to me. Other people clearly love it so don't take my word for it.

This rose has the scent of ardent desire. As the candle consumes, the flowery accents are slowly wrapped in leather and rooted in dark woods. This candle is absolutely wonderful and a favourite product of mine to place in various rooms around the house. Leaves the whole home smelling like an English garden.

Beautiful
This candle is more than boring rose! It is such a beautiful nuanced scent, very evocative and not just plain floral. The candle has a strong scent throw, which infuses my whole room. The design of Byredo candles is really gorgeous, and I think they would make a stunning gift.
