How to Apply

A well-cared for Diptyque 190g candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

And it is really a pleasure to finally find that roses' smell can be this nice, as I usually do not like the rose fragranced products at all. But this one's smell is so natural, tender, soft and calming - I'm really impressed with this candle's work!

It is a bit expensive however it makes a beautiful gift. Another beautiful scent from diptique is Benjoin or Amber

Rated 5 out of 5 by philippa79 from Absolutely amazing! I don’t normally spend much on candles, it seems a bit of a waste to buy expensive ones when they’ll literally be going up in smoke! However.... this candle is so lovely, the smell is so true to a country rose and the throw is amazing, even when it’s not lit. Every time I go near it I catch a little ‘nose glimpse’ of it and it really makes me smile!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sam45 from Lovely smell Diptyque candles are the best candles. I don’t buy them often because they are really expensive, however they are amazing. They fill the room with scent quickly (unlike lots of other brands) and the smell lasts. Roses is one of my favourite candles, and I think the smell is beautiful. You of course have to like the smell of roses, however if not find another scent and you won’t be disappointed. These candles are the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lolsta from Strong I got the miniature to try out and it was great to fill a small room. Not your typical fake rose smell, rather an authentic green rose. It’s beautiful and realistic. Doesn’t give me a headache either. I think the Diptyque quality means you get what you pay for. I recommend this product.
