Drunk Elephant was born out of founder Tiffany Masterson’s ongoing struggle with a range of skin complaints. After becoming disillusioned with the products at her disposal and the ingredients they were formulated with, she launched Drunk Elephant as a biocompatible skincare range in 2012, creating each product as a potent, easily absorbed elixir.
Each product in the Drunk Elephant range is formulated with a high percentage of active ingredients, all made at skin-friendly PH levels. Whether you’re looking to battle blemishes, reduce redness or revitalise the complexion, there are a variety of options for all concerns and any skin type.
They’re a cult favourite for a reason and are often touted as one of the best skincare brands out there, with quality and efficacy at the heart of each formulation. But it’s not just your skincare regime that can benefit from the range, as Drunk Elephant has forayed into body care and haircare too.

Leaves my hair silky and soft
I have nothing bad to say about the Drunk Elephant Cocomino Marula Cream Conditioner. It is a very nice conditioner that makes my hair feel very soft and easy to manage. However, on most days, I do prefer more heavy-weight treatments in order to keep my bleached and fine hair in working order in the long run. However, for those days when I feel like a light-weight conditioning product would suffice, this one passes with flying colours.

Not a good conditioner
I really like a lot of drunk elephant products but the hair line is not one of them. Not only did it dry out the ends of my hair and did the opposite of conditioning it but it also smells rather disgusting. Lastly the packaging is a bit irritating as not much product comes out. Overall, save your money

Marula Conditioner
I love the DE range and recently bought a few items from the hair care range. This I actually find too heavy for my hair (fine and coloured) which isn’t something I have experienced for some time. Soft when I get out of the shower but my hair is feeling greasy by lunchtime. This aside, I think the product is probably great for most people, it’s just not working for me

Lovely Conditioner
I use Drunk Elephant’s Cocomino shampoo and conditioner every day. They’re my favourites because they nourish my hair but never build up or feel heavy, don’t have a cloying synthetic fragrance (it’s a light, pleasant scent from the sweet almond oil), and my curl pattern does better without silicones. The conditioner is an excellent all-rounder.
