1. Groomed & Glowing
Let your skin do the talking with this stripped back, but beautifully polished no make-up. ‘Get this season’s flawless glow by applying a medium coverage foundation like the Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Balm and mix with a Chantecaille Illuminator to get a fresh dewy look,’ says Pro Artist Tiniquka Fletcher. The combination of both types of formulas strike the perfect balance between done, and undone.
2. Lip Play
It’s time to have fun with lip colour and leave severe liner behind. Instead embrace a playful, fun approach to your party season lips. ‘It’s about customising a look to suit your mood and your personality,’ explains Senior Pro-Artist Arif Khan. ‘Experiment with red, berry, pink, purple or burgundy shades and find an application technique that is all you. ‘He suggests using your finger to create a soft, stained look, or using a lip brush like Space NK 303 to paint a gloss over the top.
3. Night-Time Neutrals
Beyond sexy and a look that suits everyone; a luxe, smoky blend of nude tones sculpts the face and creates the same smoulder as a smoky eye. ‘Stick to the richer end of the neutral palette, browns, tans and flesh tones bring warmth and sit perfectly against a neutral lip. Even throw in a spot of bronzer,’ says Pro-Artist Renee Efthymiou.
4. Heavy Metal Eyes
The latest metallic eye shadows make this look easily achievable. Blacks, golds, bronzes and pewter infused with intense glitter and sparkle create a bold, but beautiful effect. ‘The focus for this look is the eyes, so I’d always wear it with a simple skin and lip look, explains Pro-Artist Renee Efthymiou.
5, Statement Eyeliner
One for the makeup purists out there. If eyeliner is your thing then you need do little more than simply intensify how your wear it. ‘Bolder, and bigger than we’ve seen before, the classic flick is drawn on dramatically to really enhance the eyes,’ says Pro Artist Tiniquka Fletcher. ‘Use one of our NARS High Pigment Longwear Eye Liner to create this look.’
