Rated 4 out of 5 by from A light moisturiser I am not a big fan of La Mer products, because I was allergic to a lot of items in the range, including the treatment essence, the moisturising cream and the concentrate. However, I decided to give La Mer a last try. I bought this because my skin is a bit unstable recently, so I am looking for something that could help to reduce the redness and soothe my skin. This is a good product for this goal. It is a light textured moisturiser, suitable for daily use. And luckily my skin was not allergic to it.

Unfortunately it is way out of my budget BUT if money were no object I would definitely buy this. It has the nicest fragrance of any face moisturiser I've tried and I'm a particular fan of gel formulas over creams, as they are lovely and cooling and tend to sink in quicker, leaving a matt finish. This gel formula is no exception, light but extremely moisturising, it feels like a real treat, and is great either on its own or under makeup. I have a friend who has always had really troublesome, acne prone skin - since she switched to La Mer products her skin is flawless. For me this is the best kind of review of a product, when someone you know can demonstrate a clear difference since using the products. So if you really struggle with your skin, and these products are within your budget, then they might just be your skin saviours! Totally amazing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favourite moisturiser I have been using this product for a few years and it is still keeping my skin in great condition It feels light and absorbs easily and does not leave any sticky feel but it keeps the skin feeling soft and moisturised all day whatever the climate. I recommend this product

Rated 3 out of 5 by from too expensive I have not bought into the cult of La Mer and so would not buy this again simply because I donlt feel the price tag is justified by the results. Having said that, I suspect it is targeted at slightly older skin (I am assuming this because of the price) so perhaps it will appeal more in a few years!
