How to Apply
A well-cared for Diptyque 190g candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

Although it is expensive, I would definitely recommend as a self care treat and makes the whole room smell lovely. Especially nice to have on in the background when having a bath.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overly Smokey I have long been a diptyque diciple and have loved Baies scent for years - but I always got the 70g mini votives, and recently I splashed out and went for the 190g votive - which I don't regret persay as the smell is nice, but it just isn't worth the price tag. There was no amount of wick maintenance that could control the flame and every time it burnt it turned the glass black, which isn't very pretty or smells nice when you're in the bath trying to relax. There are much nicer brands that burn better and are cheaper - so I don't know if I'll be going back to diptyque anytime soon.

It is just the most gorgeous scent and is strong but not too overpowering. i actually think the price is quite reasonable and I will continue to repurchase. The scent it fruity but almost floral at the same time - the perfect combination

A great birthday present or just a treat for yourself. Will definitely try more fragrances, although this one will be hard to beat

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scent, lasts so long you dont need to buy another If you want a candle that is going to fill your house with scent then this is the one. I buy one baies candle a year and although it is on the pricier side, you can buy one of these and the smell radiates through the house in 20 minutes. The scent is amazing and really luxurious. It obviously has a luxurious price tag to go with it but its worth every penny.
