Byredo Oud Immortel Eau de Parfum is inspired by the woody scent of oud — a completely unique aroma, with nothing quite like it found elsewhere in nature. The scent of oud occurs when the wood of the Aquilaria tree saturates its core with a fragrant resin. The wood darkens and retains the new scent. Oud has been used to make traditional incense, leading to its prevalence in oriental cultures such as India.
A complex and precise mix of ingredients is needed to emulate oud wood as closely as possible. Limoncello, incense and cardamom create the most prevalent notes of the woody composition. Patchouli, papyrus and Brazilian rosewood hold the subtlety needed to transport the heart of the scent. A final addition of tobacco leaves and moss give the perfume its base notes for a musky finish.

My favourite scent
I get constantly get asked what I am wearing when I am out and I am wearing Oud Immortel. It's one of the most long lasting scents I've worn to date, it's the perfect winter scent. I Love it! It also looks fab on the bathroom shelf, and who doesn't love a good looking shelf!

Strong and Beautiful
I love Byredo perfumes but the stores don't always have all the testers in stock so I bought this blind based purely on the reviews on spacenk! However it was the best decision as this fragrance is just what I wanted - its deep, sensuous and long lasting. It makes me feel great and lasts all day - just as well as the bottle is too big to take with you!
