Not pleasant to use

I got a little sample of this night cream which lasted me a few nights. The texture is like a thick balm, you need a lot of product to work into the face. I read a few other reviews and other people had the same experience - the cream doesn’t absorb but leaves a really sticky residue on the face. I would go as far to say it actually disturbed my sleep because my hair was getting glued to my face (making me paranoid about greasy hair) and my face kept sticking to the pillow (now I’m stressing about my silk pillowcase). All that said, my skin did look pretty amazing in the morning - smooth, plump and glowy. But for me I’m sorry the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze.

Not the best

Ok, so I need make you aware this review is based on the small sample I received with my last order. As night cream goes it didn’t do much, especially given the price tag for the full size. But I will say this is personal choice. For my night time cream I like to feel it’s presence and to apply a lot. This one absorbs quickly and I wouldn’t know I’ve got it on. I think I’ll stick to my serums and retinol products for night. Seems similar to the magic cream but the ingredients may be different.

Too thick

I chose to receive a sample of this Charlotte Tilbury magic night cream to see what it was like. The sample was only small and so really I only got three evenings use out of it. However, what I did find was it was very thick and didn’t seem to soak into my skin very well, and left and sticky layer that I found extremely irritating as my face stuck to my pillow. I certainly wouldn’t consider buying this as it’s not for me.

MAGIC NIGHT CREAM

Tried this as a sample. Product was a peachy colour and in-between a rich gel and cream. Felt nice on application, though found the fragrance a bit ‘old lady’ and became quite tacky causing my hair to stick to my face which never usually happens with products. The cream did not sink into my skin and felt more like an overnight mask. In the morning, my skin was looking radiant and super hydrated so was impressed by this. To touch it still felt a bit tacky/would not use if washed my hair the night before!

Magic night cream

This cream is very thick, balmy and almost petroleum jelly like. Left overnight it does sink in and my skin did feel hydrated in the morning. For my oily-combo skin, this would be more of a treatment for me in winter when my skin is drier but not something I'd reach for regularly. To me it smells quite strongly of white flowers.
