Adore this
This was my first Diptyque candle. I loved the new styling and wanted to treat myself to a summery candle! It has a lovely lemongrass scent and smells like a fresh spa to me. Whilst it is a summery candle, I think it’ll be so nice and cosy in autumn and winter too. It smells really strong and fills the entire room. It lasts long too so well worth the money.

Gorgeous and practical in summer
These candles are most definitely a luxury but so well made and the scents are amazing. I particularly like Citronelle as I like citrus and the added benefit of helping to repel mosquitoes. I recommend as a special treat and a great gift for friends and family!

Lovely collectable for summer!
I adore the limited edition designs by Diptyque and was hoping they would do another citronelle this year. I love that this a dual purpose (both scent and to keep the bugs away). I followed the tip of another reviewer and used it in my kitchen - perfect!! I quite like the waxy citrus quality of the smell and that it now means 'summer' for me. I would never burn this in the winter as I wouldn't want to interfere with the memories. I hope Diptyque continue to launch this each summer.

lovely candle
Diptique’s Citronella candle smells lovely and is also great to keep various insects away in the summer (e.g. it definitely works on the wasps that keep besieging our honeysuckle bushes on the terrace, and mosquitoes). However, I find the scent a bit strong for indoors – it is lovely but gets too strong very soon, at least for me. The packaging is lovely and even the colour of the candle is actually quite uplifting, great as a treat for yourself or as a gift.

Lovely but different
I absolutely adore the smell of this Citonelle range, which also might I add helps with keeping bugs away at this time of year which is an added bonus, but I must admit - I do love the packaging of Diptyque classic candles and I'm not too sure that I am enjoying the aesthetics of this range... however I do love the scent, which is important, but as someone who repurposes the jars I must say that I feel less inclined to do so with this one which is a great shame
