For best results dot onto the skin and buff in small circular motions using a brush. For contouring, use one to two shades darker than the natural skin tone, and for highlighting one to two shades lighter than natural skin tone.

This foundation can be used in a multitude of ways, from sheer to full coverage, to contour and highlight, and to conceal imperfections.
Full Coverage:
1. Dot 3 triangular dots in the center of both sides of the face
2. Buff in with the Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Brush in tiny circular motions
3. To use as a concealer, dot 3 triangular dots under each eye and blend using a stippling and buffing motion with a brush
Sheer-Medium Coverage:
1. Lightly dot foundation where needed such as chin, forehead, center of face
2. Buff in tiny circular motions with a brush
3. To use as a concealer, lightly dot foundation under the eyes as needed and blend with the ring finger in a gentle tapping motion
Contour/Highlight:
1.CONTOUR:
Choose shade 1-2 shades deeper than your natural skin tone and dot 3 triangular dots of contour color under the cheekbones, along the sides of the nose, temples of the forehead and along the jawline. Blend in a stippling and circular buffing motion.
2.HIGHLIGHT:
Choose shade 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone and dot 3 triangular dots under the eyes, along the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin. Blend in a stippling and circular buffing motion with a brush.

Love this foundation
I did the colour match to match my mac foundation and the match they suggested me was spot on. Loveeeeeeee this foundation now 😍😍 best coverage not overly cakey , super light weight this will definitely be my go to foundation from now on … can’t wait to try the concealer I heard that’s really good too , Make sure you moisturise your face first I don’t set my makeup with anything but if you do normally set your makeup I’m sure it would look even more slay 🤩🤩

Travel-friendly
I bought this for my business travels in mind when I travel for just a couple of days only with a carry-on and trying to avoid liquids in my makeup bag. For everyday use, when I'm home I have to say I prefer liquid foundation - I use Laura Mercier and I love it, it's still my favorite. That being said, this stick formula from Hourglass is amazing, very creamy, easy to blend seamlessly into the skin, and has good coverage but not heavy. You don't need to set it with a powder if you don't want to (I just lightly went over my t-zone and that's it). It looks well all day, no touchups (literally I had 16h days with it on). So this one will be my new staple for traveling. Highly recommend!

Ordered this item and received a liquid foundation
I was so excited to order this stick foundation in bisque and eventually it arrived and they had sent the vanish liquid foundation in golden. I sent an email but still waiting on any response. This was a week ago. Now nervous to buy from here as if orders get mixed up I would hope to get it rectified quickly.
