Amazing for calming redness
I just have to share my love for this amazing azelaic acid cream that has completely transformed my skin! Good exfoliant
I really like this, it seems to keep my acne-prone skin less congested and reduce blemishes. I find it to be gentler and more tolerable on my skin than some other acids, even though it creates a lot of tingling when first applied. The texture is a little bit odd, I usually try to leave it for a while before applying other products on top and I haven't had problems, although I am not a regular makeup wearer.

Careful around eye area
This product is great for giving a clearer and brighter complexion, my sebaceous filaments looked reduced after using this and my skin was brighter and softer due to the light exfoliating properties of azelaic acid. However I believe it kept irritating my under eyes, even when trying to keep it away from that area it seemed to migrate and cause some red scaly skin there unfortunately. Have heard this is also great for rosacea.

Perfect for active acne
As someone with acne-prone skin, the list of products I’ve used to treat breakouts is endless. Azelaic acid in general is a very underrated product that manages to be both gentle and highly effective at dealing with inflammation. I’ve tried high-end azelaic acid products but will always come back to this

It’s A Cult Classic For A Reason
I keep repurchasing after many years because it actually does what it say it will do on the box, with visibly noticeable differences to your skin. My skin after use looks smooth, even and minimises spots coming up or helps them heal if they are already there. To this day I still believe this is the best cream The Ordinary does. You will definitely not regret this is in your skincare routine.
