Great Vitamin C serum

This Paula's Choice vitamin C serum is a staple in my skincare routine. It is my favourite vitamin C serum by far and I do not go without. I did not experienced any bad reaction or allergy, which I did in the past with a different brand vitamin C serum. I prefer vitamin C skincare products in a serum formula because it sinks in faster then a cream therefore minimizing the product oxidation on the skin. This serum is very watery, so I apply a small amount to avoid a wet look. It is non greasy but it leaves a bit of sticky feeling after, however I believe that this boosts the benefits of the sunscreen I apply immediately after. There is no unpleasant smells that so many other vitamin C serums have. The major difference I saw in using consistently this serum, is regarding the brightness of my skin, the radiant look my skin shows, I started using every morning and every evening and after seeing results I just use every morning before the sunscreen. This product does not have any cons except the price, for 20ml of product 50 pounds is expensive but because of the fantastic results it ends up being worth it.

OMG I am so happy with this purchase. I don't use the recommended 2/3 drops - instead I use the pipette to drop a bit of product onto my forehead, rub that in, then both cheeks. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. The first couple of days I broke out now my skin is brighter, fresher and cleaner looking. I am finally becoming more confident in wearing less makeup. The texture is very runny, almost water like. The scent is odd but not unpleasant. Only slight downside is my palms have become slightly orange. Can't wait to see what my skin will look like in a months time :)

Couldn’t see a difference I’m afraid

I had high hopes for this Paula’s Choice product as they’re usually brilliant but was disappointed by this I’m afraid. Even after regular use, I couldn’t see any difference in my skin and I also didn’t find it pleasant to use. It’s quite watery so a bit messy and has a strong odour, not dissimilar to fake tan and it also stained my pillow when using at night! Can’t recommend I’m afraid.

Very watery

I like many products from Paulas Choice - I religiously use her BHA exfoliant, for example - but this vitamin C booster didn’t do anything for me. My biggest issue was that it’s incredibly runny/watery. I found it impossible to use on my face without it dripping all over; had to resort to putting it in the palms of my hand to apply. I didn’t add it to my moisturizer (as it’s suggested it can be applied, if not applied seperately) I like to do separate steps to ensure all products are evenly applied… Not sure if that would have made a difference as it’s so watery. I had two bottles I received ages ago either as part of a set or as gwp. The second one I ended up using on the backs of my hands at night (didn’t see any difference in skin texture or tone there, either). Sadly, not something I’ll repurchase, which is a shame as I love Paula’s Choice for its (usually) straightforward products and affordability.

No change

I agree with the previous review. I have used 3 bottles of this product and have not noticed any dramatic change, or any change at all. I have tried other vitamin C products from other brands as well but have not found my holy grail yet. However, it didnt irritate my skin at all which is a plus point.
