- If you have dry skin, it is recommended to prep your skin with a hydrating moisturizer and then follow with Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer (sold separately) for best results.
- If you have oily skin, it is recommended to use Always an Optimist Pore Diffusing Primer (sold separately) and/or set your foundation with a powder.
- Shake well before each use to ensure the foundation pigments are evenly dispersed throughout.
- Because of its innovative serum-like formula, pressing the foundation into your skin with fingertips is encouraged, but feel free to use the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush or a damp sponge.
- Start with the smallest amount needed—it’s recommended to use just one dot of foundation for the entire face. Use fingertips to blend in circular or tapping motions to press formula into the skin; the warmth of your fingertips will allow the pigments to melt into your skin for the best results.
- If you are using a brush or sponge, blend or stipple the foundation until it looks and feels like skin.
- For more coverage, add another dot and build as desired.
- This foundation has concentrated pigments, so less is more—add a second layer only where needed.

The most perfect lightweight foundation
I am obsessed with this foundation. It applies so evenly, does not oxidise, and blurs your pores without looking too heavy or cakey. I have gotten so many compliments since I started using it that my skin looks lovely and people asking wheat foundation I’m wearing. It gives just the right amount of coverage and feels like a dream.

I actually purchased a second shade
I purchased a second shade because I didn’t buy the right first shade but figured it would work for summer. Purchased a lighter shade still olive toned, just the light shade and it does not sit on my skin the same- doesn’t matter how much I mix it-kind of separated and sat in my pores, not like how I found the first shade. So, I don’t know what happened, and if some shades work better, or pigments, or batch. It’s good when it’s good.

Gorgeous when first applying the
Gorgeous when first applying the foundation but it didn’t last very long. Basically melted off my face in less than 8 hours, I wasn’t outside, all inside in my office. Durability is not there, I was hoping it would be because I got this to see if I could wear this product line on my wedding day
