We Used Olaplex Browbond For A Month - Here's What Happened

Olaplex Browbond Gel Review | Space NK
About a year ago, Olaplex branched away from its usual haircare offering and launched its Lashbond Lash Growth Serum, which quickly become very popular. Who doesn’t want longer, stronger lashes after all?! It was only a matter of time before the brand unveiled a brow equivalent.

As with lash growth serums, there are lots of brow-boosting treatments on the market, so what makes Olaplex Browbond Building Serum special? With a supercharged blend of peptides, Olaplex promises fuller, denser, more defined brows in just four weeks. On top of this, Olaplex also promises the clear gel treatment will sculpt your brows without leaving them feeling stiff or sticky.

Does this brow growth treatment live up to its promises though? We asked our social media manager April Clayton to use Olaplex’s Browbond every day for a month and document whether her brows really did improve. Here’s April’s week by week review…

Before using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum

My eyebrows could definitely do with a little extra definition and fullness. I rarely leave the house without using a brow product to help shape and sculpt them. I’ve dabbled with brow treatments in the past, but I’m never consistent enough, so I’m intrigued to see if using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum, £64 once a day will make a difference.

After 1 week of using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum

One week after using Olaplex Browbond serum | Space NK

Initially I’d decided to use the brow treatment once a day, but after trying it once and really liking it, I upped my usage to morning and evening. I found the consistency of Olaplex Browbond serum nice, it’s not too wet or watery and doesn’t leave any residue on my brows.

After 2 weeks of using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum

After a fortnight of consistent use twice a day, I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference. I’d say my brows look slightly healthier and fuller, which is a result for someone with fair, sparse brows. What I have noticed is Olaplex’s Browbond serum gives your brows more definition, so it’s a handy treatment to use alone if you’re having a no makeup day. I also really like that this gel doesn’t leave my brows feeling hard or crunchy.

After 3 weeks of using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum

While I haven’t noticed any real change, I wanted to include photographic evidence to spur me on to keep applying the formula twice a day, every day!

After 4 weeks of using Olaplex Browbond Building Serum

I’m not sure if the change has come about in the past week, but the front end of my brows definitely look and feel more fuller to me. The hairs aren’t necessarily thicker, but I think my brows looks fuller and healthier overall. I feel like Olaplex Browbond Building Serum has made a real difference, so I’ll definitely continue to use the formula.

My verdict on Olaplex Browbond Building Serum – is it worth it?

Having used Olaplex Browbond Building Serum, £64 for a month and seen a visible difference in my brows, I would definitely recommend this treatment to someone with fair, thinner brows like myself. It was really easy to slot into my routine and takes an extra 60 seconds at most. I used the formula on its own, as well as underneath my usual brow products with no difficulty at all. Unlike other brow boosting treatments, Olaplex’s Browbond doesn’t leave your brows feeling stiff or crunchy either.
