Susanne Kauffman face oil offers a light, smoothing texture that's pleasant on the skin. However, its strong perfume and yellow coloration are a bit overpowering. Unfortunately, it stained my pillow, making it less practical for night time use. Overall, a decent product but not one I'd purchase again

Sadly it’s a no

I received a sample of this oil recently and thought I’d try it instead of my usual marula oil, as part of my morning routine. The oil is lightweight and easily absorbed with a strong botanical scent and orange colour. Sadly I didn’t find it a suitable march for my mature, sensitive skin. After applying I was left with a tingling feeling which resulted in a slight reaction. I think the formula is too strong for me. Lovely for someone with a more robust skin.

Best Use: Hydrating

Beautiful face oil

I received this as a sample and loved it so much I’m purchasing it. Gorgeous scent. Absorbed easily into my skin. Used directly after cleansing as part of my evening routine. Skin looked noticeably brighter and really hydrated the next morning. Four stars as would like to see the effect of using this product over a longer period of time.

Not for me

I received a sample of this with a recent Space NK purchase. Facial oils are a part of my regular nighttime skincare routine so I was looking forward to trying this one. However, it is too heavily fragranced for me and the bright yellow colour of the facial oil left a residue on my hands which transferred to my sheets. Therefore, it is not something I would look at purchasing in the full size version.

Light yet effective

My skin is quite dry so I always incorporate a face oil in my skin care routine to add a bit of 'extra' care. This face oil is very light so it is absorbed into the skin really easily. I enjoy adding a couple of drops to my serum, face cream or even body cream, which provides an extra protection. It is especially nice to use this in the colder months.
