Prepare your space:
• Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Protect delicate materials, such as wood or marble, with a stand or tray.
• Keep candles away from flammable materials.
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

Light the candle:
• We recommend lighting your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself.
• During the first burn, allow the candle to burn until a full, even pool of melted wax forms (approximately 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunnelling and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.

While burning:
• After the first burn, do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not move a burning candle or one that is still hot.
• Keep the candle away from draughts.
• Maintain at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space between two candles.

After each use:
• Snuff out the flame using a candle snuffer to prevent splashes of hot wax.
• Re-centre the wick once the candle has been extinguished.
• Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid risk of fire.

Final note:
• Stop using your candle once there is only 5 mm of wax left or the metal wick sustainer base becomes visible.

After care & storage:
• We recommend airing the room after burning a candle.
• Allow the wax to cool completely before moving your candle.
• Store it in a dry, temperate place (15°C–25°C / 59°F–77°F), away from direct sunlight to avoid discolouration, pigmentation or dislodging of the wax.
