For best results when hiding roots:
• Apply to dry, styled hair
• Load up the small end of the brush with a generous amount of powder
• Pull hair flat/taut against the head
• Press brush down firmly onto roots, using a dabbing motion
• Do not sweep brush along hair
• Let set for a minute or two without touching it. Then dust off excess powder if necessary using the bigger end of the brush
• To retouch and extend highlights, use the side edge of the small brush, following the same technique as above

Recommend going in store to try
I recently bought Colour Wow root cover in my local store. I wanted to cover my grey in between salon appointments. The lady in store was so helpful and let me try the product so I could choose the right colour. It’s easy to use. I would recommend going in store to try it first if you can as I think it’s quite expensive to purchase if it’s not going to work for you.

Didn't work for me
This has been advertised and mentioned a lot on social media recently and I was intrigued to see if it worked because I have light blonde highlights and when I am in between hair appointments, there are times when I would like to touch up my darker blonde roots. On social media, it looked like this worked wonders but I should have realised it was too good to be true. It didn't cover up my roots and looked chalky and powdery.

root touch up
This is good to fit into a small bag and stuff so its super useful on the go, the actual product application is straight forward and you can place the product where you need it to be. It lasts quite a while and is worth trying out new hair products such as root touch ups .

I purchased Colour Wow root cover up recently. I have some grey root growth in between my hairdresser appointments and want to cover it up. I have tried a lot of other products, sprays, wands etc and none of them were any good. I decided to buy the blonde colour as I have blonde/brown highlights. It is really nicely packaged with a mirror inside and has a double sided brush applicator. It is good to apply, looks natural and hides my grey roots very well. I went to my hairdressers appointment and she commented that my roots didn't need doing! So it shows how good the product is. The only downside is, is it's a little pricey however I totally think it's worth it.

AMAZING COVERAGE
I really like this root cover up, it's my 2nd purchase. I prefer the fine texture of this than the root sprays. The blonde is a lovely golden blonde which covers up my grey roots really well and leaves a nice shimmer, very easy to apply and blends in with the rest of my hair colour so well. It's easy to wash out, I have also used the platinum which is slightly cooler in colour but found on my hair the blonde colour gave more coverage. It lasts a long time too as you don't need to use much and stays in until you wash your hair.
