Solid foundation
This foundation really reminded me of the makeup they used in the Barbie film. The makeup artist spoke about wanting to give the actresses a 'one-dimensional' flat look to their ski (whilst looking pristine, poreless etc) I think this is what this foundation achieves. Personally I want a glowier finish!

Wanted to love this but...
Wanted to love this, but just not right for me. I use another foundation with a luminous finish and unfortunately this one from Lisa doesn't compare. It's a much 'flatter' finish and after trialling a couple of times i particularly noticed the difference at the end of the day, where my usual foundation tends to hold out and I still have a glow - this one just didn't deliver the same. Love everything else Lisa does, but this one just not for me.

Stunning foundation - new favourite!
I am so happy that Lisa Eldridge has launched at space NK. This is by far the best foundation I have tried in my life, and I have tried a lot. First of all the shade 2.5 is the perfect match for my fair but olive toned skin. I tend to have a little bit of redness and it covers it perfectly. The texture is very lightweight and feels almost whipped, which makes it very easy to spread evenly on the face. I normally apply this foundation with a brush and it gives me the perfect streak free finish. I love how buildable this foundation is: one pump provides more of a BB cream coverage, whereas two or three can be built up to a more medium coverage foundation. It looks fantastic in both daylight and artificial light. I wore this foundation on holiday and I kept getting compliments on how beautiful my skin looked. It survived well in 30° heat even though I have pretty oily skin. On busier and sweatier days, it broke up a little bit around my nose but it was very easy to fix just with my fingers without having to add any more product. The foundation also photographs beautifully and looks incredibly natural. I wish I could give it six stars and I hope that my shade comes back in stock soon as I will definitely be repurchasing it.

Didn’t irritate my rosacea prone skin
It is so rare that a foundation or skin tint doesn’t irritate my rosacea prone skin, I usually experience a sunburn like burning sensation through the day when I wear a foundation. I’m so pleased to have found a foundation that works for me, there are so many shades and I think a few of the shades would work for my skin tone. Buildable coverage, very wearable: looks good close up and from a distance. The coverage was really good and helped even my complexion, while looking natural.

Fantastic for combination skin
This is a fantastic foundation for lasting on combination skin like mine. The finish is almost a soft focus matte/satin/velvet - basically it isn’t glowy! I find that it creates a fantastic base for other makeup allowing you to add highlight where you want rather than having to tone down with powder. The coverage can be built up easily without looking heavy. The range of tones and shades is fantastic and the bottle design is beautiful. This is probably not for you if you love glowy/dewy skin.
