Smell is overpowering
This is a very expensive product but you only need the tiniest amount so it lasts forever. Initially I used too much and had to re wash my hair and start again. However the reason that I will not be repurchasing is the smell! The scent is pleasant in its self but even using only a tiny amount it is absolutely overpowering and far too much. Would use again if an unscented version was made.

Very good pomade (very strongly scented)
Very good pomade that doesn't feel heavy or sticky and doesn't sit on the hair. I have coarse, curly hair and my hair loved it. I think it has just the right amount of hold, not too little, not too much. Regarding the scent, the first few times I used it, I loved it - it definitely smells rich, and people notice it. But I tolerate it less and less now. I have to agree it's scented very strongly to the point of being overpowering. Unfortunately!

Great Results on My Dry Frizzy Hair
I have been very happy with results I’ve seen after using this product. My hair is dry, coloured and prone to frizziness. This pomade helps to control the frizziness and keeps my hair looking soft, wavy and healthy. It’s easy to apply and I only apply a small amount to hair when air dried. I like the scent which I don’t find over powering.

I don’t like the smell
This product feels nice when it goes on. I’ve given it two stars for hold as while not great it did defrizz my hair. But the smell! I can’t imagine how this product ever got passed with such a horribly overpowering fragrance. I applied more perfume to try to mask it and still it wouldn’t shift. This brand needs to rethink the fragrance. Not at all for me and I definitely would not repurchase or recommend.

Great value luxury hair oil pomade
Charlotte Mensah’s Manketti Oil Pomade is great but in small doses. The great thing about that is that the tub consequently lasts a long time. It has a nice smell which is quite strong but if you are only using it sparingly that shouldn’t be a problem.
