An encounter made perfume, plunging us into the heart of musk and its multiple facets. Musk evolves, changes, and expresses itself over time and from one skin to another, just as ink saturates paper, assuming its texture to conjure up dreams and images.
In L'Eau Papier, white musks are delicately faceted by an accord of rice steam, evoking the grain of the paper. To these are added luminous notes of mimosa, while a backdrop of blonde wood tones grounds L'Eau Papier in the material itself.

Smells of sunshine
I was lucky enough to receive a sample of this. Firstly the packaging of the sample was uninque, it came in weird paper sachet with a spray which was novel, but served me well. On spraying the floral notes hit straight away making it an ideal, light summery fragrance. However, a musky earthy heavier scent followed. A nice combination, but it didn’t want me want to rush and buy the full size version.

SMELLS OF RICE!
I would say this perfume smells more of freshly boiled rice rather than paper, but I love it more because of it. This scent is comfortable, unisex, and overall just puts me into a good mood when I wear it. The fragrance is soft so silliage isn't incredible and does wear out throughout the day

My new signature
Really like this. Smells better as the day goes on. It is clean, fresh, slightly musk and I also get a hint of pepper. Addictive and wearable for day and think it will be my new signature for spring/summer days. Longevity is okay, but wouldn’t expect it to last from day to night with it being an au toilette rather than parfum.

Beautiful fragrance
I first tried this perfume when I got a sample with another order. Within a few hours of wearing the sample I ordered a bottle. It has become one of my favourite perfumes and I always get compliments when I wear it. It is quite a unique scent, I would find it hard to compare to another. I think this will remain part of my collection for years to come.

Very unique
I enjoy a light musk/floral scent, this is a very unique scent which to me makes it worth the price, the sesame notes are very interesting. As usual, with diptyque, the packaging is very attractive. It's a nice all year round scent, not too overpowering. Would recommend.
