To facilitate perfect makeup application, this sponge features an open cell structure that allows water to enter. During use, the sponge fills with water and is ready for use with a variety of makeup products. The product sits on top, with minimal waste. Thanks to the edgeless shape of the sponge, application is easy.
For best results, fill sponge with water and squeeze out excess liquid, using a towel. Dip sponge into the makeup and apply. During initial use, colour may run off the sponge.

For this reason, you may notice some color run off or wash away the first time you wet beautyblender. This is normal and will disappear after you have cleansed the product several times. Please note: the color will not transfer onto the face or clothing.
