Compliments galore!
Despite not usually gravitating towards rose scents, this is unlike any other rose fragrance I’ve smelt / used. It has such depth and it lasts all day! I’ve been receiving so many compliments when I wear it! Granted, it is pricey but I would say it’s worth it and it’s lasted such a long time because a little goes a long way.

Kind of old
This smell reminds me of an older person. It is definitely personal, but the rose fragrance is very strong and dominant (as expected from the name). There is something nostalgic about it, something classy. It's not an edgy perfume like other Byredo ones, but kind of classic. I like it personally, although it's not my favourite one.

Smells RICH
When trying the Byredo perfumes in store, this was the one I felt like spraying on myself. I liked the smell on the bottle but the first whiff didn't convince me, so I left without buying it. I then went out a couple of days later with the same top I was wearing when I tried it, and I couldn't find the source of this amazing scent I kept smelling in the air - it was me, and it was this. Incredibly, the scent lingered on my clothes even after washing. I spray it on my clothes before I wear them because I still can't appreciate the first whiff - it's super strong and somewhat pungent(?), but when it settles down... It smells unique, young, gorgeous and unequivocally rich. And it lingers beautifully. By my estimation, this bottle will last me approximately forever, which makes me feel better about the price too. Love.

Fresh and lovely pink rose
This is an underrated one from Byredo, not as well known as the others because it's newer but I love the dewy freshness, it's a photorealistic rose which makes it modern and fresh rather than stuffy or sickly, it makes me think of pink rosebuds opening up in the morning in a French landscaped garden. Staying power is better than I expected too!

Fresh, floral scent with a price tag
I got this scent as a sample and was quite surprised as to how much I like it. I like roses, but was worried that the scent would be overpowering, however this is very balanced. Quite deep, floral and strong enough to last the day. If you're willing to pay the steep price tag, then it's a perfect addition to your perfume collection!
