Amazing
I started using Charlotte Mensah’s manketti oil last year and fell in love with it, so added the shampoo into my routine and my hair loves me for it. I have always struggled to find a shampoo that hydrated my frizzy,dry hair. I had been using Orbie gold lust, which I was happy with until I found this! Half the price and everyone has complimented my hair since I’ve been using it. Plus it smells amazing

Works for me - nourishing and shine-enhancing
I can see from the other reviews that this is not a shampoo that works for everybody, but my experience so far has been very positive. I have been using it with the matching conditioner so I wonder if that's what makes the difference? I really like the scent which lingers a few days. My hair is much shiner, less dry and feels well-nourished.

Great for curly and Afro hair
Just like the conditioner, I have been using this for a while now and can’t find anything more nourishing hand hydrating. My hair hasn’t felt better. I even use this on my daughters hair and she is mixed race who has curly hair and it take to the range very well

Sadly not a fan
Sadly not a fan of this shampoo. This shampoo is meant to transform dry/dull/damaged hair but I find this drys out my hair even more. I'm not sure if its due to the type of hair oil that's used in this shampoo im just not sure but it really doesn't suit my hair type at all. Not wanting to waste this, I just use this shampoo when giving my hair a quick in between wash (days where I need to do a quick hair wash so my hair is clean but not going anywhere so doesn't matter if my hair looks good or not).

Disappointing
Hair heavy, oily and lifeless after use. Doesn’t lather well. Had to wash my hair with another shampoo to get rid of oiliness. Would not recommend. A real pity, especially given the price. Although it states it’s for damaged hair, this is not for regular use. The packaging and scent are nice, if a little overwhelming. Will definitely not be purchasing again, particularly at this price-point. Quite an expensive mistake, sadly.
