How to Apply
A well-cared for Diptyque 70g candle will burn for up to 30 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

Just like a wood fire
This smells just like a wood fire, so if you don’t have one, you can create the vibe! Diptyque candles are my first choice, they burn well and evenly, and actually scent the room- and this is one of my favourite scents. Woody and rich but not cloying.

Nice winter scented candle
I LOVE Diptyque candles, in fact anything Diptyque. This is a lovely candle. Not my favourite but I like it a lot. It is smokey woody, not for the summer, but provides a nice ambience in the room during winter time. Diptyque candles do generally burn well and they last well too, so better value than other brands, many of which I find burn a lot quicker than the Diptyque brand, so quite good value really for a premium candle.

Love love this candle
Received this as part of an advent calendar a couple of years ago and haven’t found a match since. Treated myself for lockdown! It’s a gorgeous woody, smokey and oaky smell. Reminds me of campfires in the best way possible. I really enjoy how the whole room is filled with this deep scent. Pairs really nicely with Ambre by Diptyque too. Perfect for a gloomy rainy Jan!

Not the best in the range
Yes, this smells smoky/woody and is perfect for this time of year.
Sadly it just doesn't have enough of a throw for me :(
Tuberose and other candles by Diptyque, you can semll in the the room when they are not even lit.
Feu de Bois is not like that, you burn it, it smells lovely, but then the smell is gone.
If you enjoy scents that don't linger, then this could be for you.
I don't think I would buy this again, although I will continue buying from the Diptyque range

My favourite candle
This candle smells incredible!! You only need to light it for five minutes. It is a bit expensive of course, but I find it totally worth it. It looks great too. I'm planning on storing my makeup brushes in the container after I'm done with it. I'd like to order it in the bigger size one day
