Fine but not top
It’s a good scent to combine it with others eg tumberose or myrrh but it’s not a standout scent. It’s more subtle than strong so if that’s what you’re looking it works well. I believe you can find better scents from diptyqe but by any means it’s not that it’s not good, just not the greatest.

Classic for a reason
One of the best, cleanest and most timeless sandalwood scented candles on the market. The note is perfectly showcased and this is one of the most classic, unsung heroes from the diptyque collection. It is not as flashy as other sandalwood scented products out there on the market but it lends itself perfectly to bringing the right amount of warmth and luxury to your interior.

Pure sandalwood
I love baies but sometimes I need something else and this has quickly become my next favourite alongside tuberuse. This is nice if you don’t feel like a floral fragrance which a lot of the candles are. It is soft and calming. The fragrance is creamy and musky. If you like sandalwood you will appreciate the soft pure form of this and how it doesn’t need any other notes/combinations as found in many other candles.

Luxury
This is a lovely candle I have purchased it many times, it's a great candle for any time of the year! I like to burn it with Ambre and the two combined id perfect for the time of year. Only criticism is it's quite smokey towards the end and can mark walls with soot, but still doesn't put me off purchasing!

Smells great
Smells incredible and burns well. Loved it so much, it made me decide to go for the diptyque advent calendar. Can’t wait to try all of the others! Wish they weren’t so expensive, but they are great quality. It also felt nice to be able to use some of my points when buying it, so it didn’t feel quite so bad.
