Deliver a detoxifying cleanse with the Christophe Robin Purifying Shampoo With Thermal Mud, a nutrient-rich shampoo that provides a deep cleanse for the hair and scalp.
At the heart of the formula of this detoxifying shampoo is mineral-rich thermal mud. Working to purify the scalp of impurities and pollution, it also helps to relieve the sensation of oily roots for hair and scalp that feels more comfortable, clean and refreshed.
Delivering protective haircare, the shampoo includes a deep-sea mineral complex that boosts the scalp’s burrier function to help shield it from pollution. It also contains Baltic Sea red algae to help smooth the cuticle, allowing the length of time between washes to be extended for hair that feels fresh and clean for longer.

Not nearly as good as their scrub
I have loved using the Christophe Robin's Purifying Sea Salt Scrub (as well as their Regenerating Mask - chef's kiss), so when a set with the full size scrub along with a mini purifying shampoo and mini purifying conditioner became available and on sale, I got it to try the other purifying formulas. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed as the shampoo did not seem to clean my hair very well and I often ended up repeating the shampooing for good measure - and still it was a far cry from just a quick all-over with their sea salt scalp scrub which gives me instant squeaky-clean results. What is more, the deep grey colour of the shampoo was a bit off-putting, as was the scent, whereas the sea salt scrub smells simply put just divine. Unless you have very sensitive, thin or super-dry scalp, I would not recommend this shampoo over the scrub on any occasion.

Thermal mud
I like this shampoo, it will take me a while to get through because I don't always use purifying shampoo/mask but from what i've used so far it has had an effect. My hair feels very clean but not dried out, you have to thoroughly wash it out as the 'thermal mud' clings to your hair.

Not for me
I did not like this shampoo, I thought I was going to like it as I love the scrub from this range however I felt that this shampoo did not clean my hair. It did not lather, and I felt that I needed to use a lot of products to get any sort of lather to clean my hair. It has no scent either, so it is not an enjoyable experience. I will not be repurchasing this product.

A Good Shampoo
This shampoo is not as lather-able as the salt scrub by Christophe Robin - it also has a slightly more earthy scent to it. I have to shampoo twice with this shampoo, as just one shampoo and rinse doesn't clean my hair fully. I normally shampoo twice anyway as I have combination oily/dry skin and find that double cleansing my skin and scalp works best for me. I only get a lather on the second rinse with this, and it's not the richest lather, but it does leave my hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean while simultaneously not leaving my skin feeling stripped of its natural oils. It's not the biggest bottle and mine had clearly leaked a bit in the post - so I am not too sure how long it will last with regular use and medium-length hair. But it's a good quality, gentle shampoo that is suitable for greasy roots and dry ends especially.
