Maybe its not for sensitive skin?
I found this oil to be really nice and hydrating and loved applying it as part of my night routine but I think retinol might just not work for my skin. Although my skin was hydrated and soft, I think this added to me getting a few breakouts here and there. So on one hand it was helping but on the other hand causing breakouts which would eventually lead to hyperpigmentation so it kind of defeats the purpose in my specific case. If you don't have sensitive skin it might be a great option for you.

Favourite night oil
I’ve been using this night oil for the past 4 years and I absolutely love it! It’s best on cleansed skin just before bed and honestly a little goes a long way. I usually just put one drop on either side of my cheek and massage it in. May I add, like all Sunday Riley products this smells insane!! Highly recommend.

Brightening
This was one of the first retinol products I used in my early 30s and overnight it left my skin looking brighter. With continued use it also helped minimise some of the texture on my skin as well as breakouts. I used it about three times a week and it did not irritate my otherwise dry and sometimes sensitive skin.

Not a fan of the blue.
This seems like a good way to use retinol as the oil helps to stop any dryness - I have not had any irritation using this. It isn’t my favourite retinol product though as I find the blue off putting. I much prefer the retinoid serum. I wouldn’t buy this product again, simply because of the colour.
