Rated 5 out of 5 by Nina S from It's pricey but worth it I recently came back from holiday, and even though I use SPF daily, you could really see which products offered the best protection when you are actually away and sunbathing. This SPF is a clear winner, leaving my skin looking and feeling lovely whilst ensuring I didn't burn or go red, which is not something I can say for the other products I tried.

Rated 3 out of 5 by gav442 from meh Medium weight, not too heavy but not watery at all. Need to blend in really well because if not an cast is purpley blue colour remains on the surface of the skin. I used after normal moisturiser and before foundation. Ok but not amazing, I won't be repurchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EmmaLee from Surprisingly good! I never have high expectations for sunscreen other than them blocking the sun. Usually for me, they end up looking greasy, white cast, pilling, etc. I was very impressed with this sunscreen. It applies incredibly smoothly, and it almost seems hydrating. I had to rub it in a bit to avoid having a white cast; however, the time this took was minimal and it left a mat finish and no white cast. It was non-greasy and the mat finish helped make the hyperpigmentation on my face look less noticeable. Whilst I don’t think it will make dark spots disappear - and whilst all sunscreens are a defense against dark spots occurring or increasing on your face - I was impressed that this did make the dark spots less noticeable. The only downside I found was when reapplying, it was hard to get the sunscreen to absorb (due to the existing layer) so for the second application it did leave my face with a bit of a white cast; I continued using this for the first application of the day or when I knew I’d only be outside for a few hours. Really glad I found a decent facial sunscreen, a rarity! It does what it claims it will do, plus it looks good when applied. Would recommend and will repurchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ben1109 from I really wanted to love this … I generally love DDG products: their peel pads are one of my favourite products ever and my mum RAVESSS about their retinol/vit c eye serum but I was honestly rather disappointed by this product. The anti-pigmentation “complex” is certainly interesting to me as someone who suffers from post-acne pigmentation. However, even on my pale-ish white skin this sunscreen leaves a white cast!! I’ve definetly tried sunscreens that have a much worse cast than this one but it is still noticeable for me and, therefore, that’s kind of a dealbreaker. I shall continue to wear on this on days when i’m in the house and won’t have to see anyone but otherwise I shall go back to my preferred SPFs like Ultra Violette.

Rated 3 out of 5 by FionaM from Great under tinted moisturiser Sadly there has not been a huge opportunity to wear this product but when I have applied prior to a tinted moisturiser, I have been impressed that it doesn't run or flake. I am naturally pale but have noticed that there can be a slight white casting as other reviews have commented upon. When I applied foundation over the top it was successful but I feel only due to the short time use and I would be hesitant in applying foundation over the top as a full make-up pre pandemic.
