Rated 1 out of 5 by Time traveler from Unpleasant I found this thick and tacky, it was not absorbed by my skin, and despite the tint left a white sheen. My emergency purchase of La Roche Posay was an infinitely better product at a fraction of the price. There are many better and cheaper products available

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lilas from Undecided I do think this is good for a mineral/non-organic based sunscreen product, but it does come with that thicker feeling on the skin compared to chemical sunscreens. The L/M tint works well on my light-medium skin with yellow undertones. I find it looks a bit cakier than I would like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lizcburns from Effective mineral sunscreen As with the non tinted version I found this to be a highly effective sunscreen that only uses mineral filters. It stayed put on sunny days while on holiday and even while sea kayaking. The shade range is obviously not great but appreciate that this now has 2 shades at a minimum. I did get slight irritation with this so now avoid completely mineral sunscreens as I believe my issue is the zinc! I now use a mix of chemical and titanium dioxide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by janeyjanejanejane from Radiant SPF I had a sample of this which I used during the hot weather while I was furloughed. I have a medium skin tone and used the medium/dark colour. It evened out the colour of my skin and left me with a lovely glow colour with no need for foundation. The weather was very hot but I didn’t burn and got a nice glow. I will buy the full size now

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pink panther from I’m on the fence I so wanted to love this. I have a really hard time finding SPFs that are cruelty free ,reef safe and have a nice formula. I love every other DDG product I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot so I had high hopes. I have light/medium skin tone with yellow undertones and I bought the medium/dark version for summer use. This product functions brilliantly as an SPF but this issue I have is with the formula. It is very dry. The glow that you get is a slightly metallic shimmer when the product dries and it does dry down completely, which I find to be rare for a mineral based sunscreen. The problem is is that it dries too quickly so while you’re rubbing it into your skin, one section will dry and then pill. I just can’t cover my whole face fast enough and once it starts to dry, it won’t blend at all. Because it has a tint, this can leave you patchy. I do find that it works better under makeup but that’s not why I bought it. I don’t like to wear foundation in the summer. The colour is quite red toned as well so doesn’t match my yellow undertones but that won’t worry everyone. I now mix this with the DE non-tinted sunscreen and that works quite well.
