About The Brand
Founded in 2020, AKT (pronounced “act”) is the brainchild of Ed Currie and Andy Coxon, former West End performers who discovered that mainstream deodorants simply couldn’t withstand the demands of their intensely physical schedules. Drawn to the promise of natural deodorants but frustrated by their lack of longevity, the pair spent three years researching and collaborating with leading experts in fragrance and cosmetic science. The result was AKT’s all-natural, plastic-free, chemical-free and gender-neutral Deodorant Balm. Since then, the brand has launched a range of bodycare essentials, including a body wash, oil, scrub, and balm.Who Is AKT For?

AKT’s Deodorant Balm is powered by Deo-Barrier Complex™, a blend of natural, powder-based ingredients that keep you dry while remaining invisible on the skin. It’s free from aluminium salts (known to clog pores and cause irritation) as well as parabens and synthetic fragrances, designed to be incredibly gentle and kind to your skin.
AKT Deodorant Balm is designed to keep you smelling fresh all day. As for usage, one tube will last you between six and eight weeks, though some customers find it lasts up to 12 weeks.
You can either use a sharp object, such as a pen, to pierce the seal, or you can purchase The Assistant separately for effortless opening.
Squeeze a pea-sized amount onto your finger or The Applicator and massage the balm into your underarms like a moisturiser. You can also apply the balm anywhere you need protection, such as your feet, forehead or chest.
