Three Ways To Wear Armani's Eye Drama
To put the three latest shades, Pearl, Mauve and Rose, through their paces, we've tested each shade differently - As a liner, on its own, and on a smokey eye. If there's one thing we love, it's versatility.

Pearl - Shimmering smokey eye
Shade: This light, pearlescent hue is packed with light-reflecting pigments, and the shade has metallic depth to it, which I love.
Method: I applied this shimmer eyeshadow on top of a brown neutral smokey eye. I didn't necessarily blend it, I just softened the edges slightly with a flat eyeshadow brush, but you could easily do this with your fingers.
Verdict: I was blown away by how pigmented it was, with just one swipe delivering maximum pay off. The formula felt lightweight and dried down quickly, so you don't need to worry if you suffer with oily eye lids. If you want a decent shimmer on your eyes without the fuss, this is by far, the highest impact, lowest effort option.
Mauve - Matte all over colour
Shade: This cool toned light pink shadow is truly matte, without being drying, making it ideal as a base to cover veins and darkness on your eyelids. I love how brightening this shade is, I found it really opens the eye up and awakens your appearance. Whether you wear this high-fashion hue alone or as a base for other shadows, this is a useful shade to keep in your arsenal.
Method: As somebody who religiously covers their eyelids with concealer and then sets it with a light matte shadow, I have to say, this is a much better way of doing it. I applied all over the lids and lightly buffed with a fluffy brush, for a couple of seconds.
Verdict: The colour pay off that I achieved with such a small amount of liquid would be impossible to achieve with a powder shadow.
Rose - Shimmering liner
Shade: This deep, metallic dusty rose shade would be excellent on deeper skin tones!
Method: I picked it up with a flat lining brush and created a crisp line along my lashes with just one layer. I simply cleaned up by dragging my knuckle underneath the line while it was still wet. It's great because the formula gives you a couple of minutes of play time before it sets.
Verdict: I love this look for a subtle everyday liner and would recommend this technique with a darker shade for the evening! You could also do a smokey wing very easily, which is a favourite of mine.
Our Verdict On Armani Beauty's Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow
This was one of the best liquid eyeshadows I've ever tried and the fact it worked effectively in all three ways is testament to that. No notes!
THE PROS: One layer of each shade is pigmented enough, but if you want to build up the intensity you can! The formula is so easy to blend and dries down after a few minutes, giving you ample time to work with it before enjoying a long-lasting finish without being too dry.
THE CONS: I love the new pink shades, but I want to try some evening-ready browns too! They're next on my hit list...
