A well-cared for Diptyque 190g candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

Received this as a birthday gift, loved it so much

I received this is a 30th birthday gift and I absolutely adore the scent. It's super fresh, floral, what I imagine is like to go on a coastal walk near an orange grove in the South of Italy. Subtle but intoxicating at the same time. Beautiful packaging and presentation. will definitely buy myself.

Spring

I love gardenia and this candle is perfect for springtime! Lovely creamy white floral scented and the scent in the candle itself does last a long time, as of any Diptyque candles really. I sometimes have this in the winter too as it also creates a very cozy and welcoming home or bathroom scent, without being too 'refreshing' like other floral scents.

Not my favourite

I'm a huge fan of Diptyque candles but I must say that I was a little disappointed with the throw on this one. I tend to go for quite punchy fragrances for both myself and my home and this didn't quite tick the box for that. I do recognise that some people prefer a less overpowering scent especially if near a kitchen/dining room so it definitely has its place in the home - just possibly not mine.

Great for summer

I was looking for the products with gardenia scent, as my grandma used to have lots of gardenias in her garden. I have tried different fragrances and candles from various brands, this is the best so far. Especially, it is great for summer. Each time you only need to light it on for two hours, it lasts for almost a day. I have repurchased several times already. It is definitely on my must-have list.

Beautiful Floral

This candle is lovely for those floral lovers who like a heady scent. It smells exactly like gardenias and i just adore this in warmer months. Makes a perfect gift as it's not too sharp or offensive. It's really a beautiful scent. Brilliant for mother's day for example!
