A well-cared for Diptyque 190g candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Your candle will burn clean and evenly down to the bottom of the glass if you burn it for at least two hours the first time - or until the whole top is liquid with wax. After blowing out your candle, centre and straighten the wick. Trim the wick to about half a centimetre long before relighting the candle. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and avoid unsightly black smoke marks around the edge of the glass. Do not place the candle in a wind draught or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Never move or tip a lit candle. Keep out of reach of children.

Lovely fresh scent

Bought this for a gift for a colleague and she loved it. Lovely soft and fresh fragrance and not overpowering. Great small size for gifting and am sure it will burn well for many hours. There's an extensive range of these which I will be trying for myself next!

I enjoy this rose candle from Diptyque. It lasts better than imagine and the scent is soft and beautiful. I think this candle is actually suitable year round, although I love buring it in the summer most. Burns evenly and makes the place where you burn it turns very cozy!

Sophisticated fragrance

I'm a big fan of diptique candles. They are fabulous quality, with a long burn time and even fragrance. In smaller spaces, you don't even have to light the candle to appreciate the scent. I purchased this one for a friend and have suffered with envy when I smell it at her place. It's undeniably a rose, but a very grown-up rose. I'll be getting one for myself.....
